Referenced in AniMat’s Crazy Cartoon: The New Normal (2020) cast. I knew it couldn’t be the same quality as the movies, but I didn’t expect it to be so…mediocre. For a moment I thought it was an Amazon production, not HBO.

There are no real special effects, it feels a bit low budget

For some roles, they are not the right choice of actors; not because the actors are bad, but because they are not right for the role. There is too much going on in the first episode and they jump from one scene to the next as if they are in a hurry . Also, some scenes make me wonder why they even bothered to make them.

I really hope it gets better

I’m not sure what camera they used, but the photos look too simple.
