Taking advantage of the rapid-fire 100-minute run time, Robot has very little break or downtime like Roz. the journey of discovery with new friends and what it means to truly care and love beyond its intended boundaries takes us on a familiar theatrical journey, but it is done with such uniqueness and a sense of identity that there 39; you never worry about Robot just ticking all the boxes to create a memorable outing that will have you cheering, laughing and more than likely crying. which Sanders himself describes as a “Monet painting in the Miyazaki forest,” a style that creates more than its fair share of visually outstanding segments, and when that lovingly crafted vibrancy meets Lupita Nyong’o’s thoughtful lead vocals , as the lovable Roz and Pedro Pascal as the initially obnoxious but ultimately likeable Fink, and an exemplary and soaring score enhanced by Kris Bowers, Robot comes together as a complete package in every department.
