When I sat down to watch the 2024 Sin Curse The Eater" directed by Justin Denton, I had never heard of it

Tale

A poor construction worker makes a deal with a dying business tycoon to inherit billions, only to discover that he, too, has been cursed by the man’s horrific sins.. But the cover of the movie turned out to be interesting enough, and the fact that it was a horror movie that I hadn’t seen before, and given my passion for the horror genre, of course I needed no persuasion to sit down and watch it.

The narrative is a slow burn

movie. I literally had no idea what I was getting into here, so writers Adam Davis and Will Corona Pilgrim had almost every opportunity to surprise and entertain me.

You have to get halfway through the movie before things start happening

And to be honest, I have to admit that my interest in the story waned at that point. So writers Adam Davis and Will Corona Pilgrim dropped the ball and never picked it back up.

The movie was all actors I didn’t know

And that actually spoke to the film because I loved watching foreign talent on screen. And I will say that despite the sub-script and the story, the acting in “Curse of the Sin-Eater”; was fair.

Visually, you don’t expect a great horror movie experience

There were some simple special effects throughout the film, but they weren’t nearly enough to lift the film up and out of the mediocrity. My rating for director Justin Denton’s 2024 Curse of the Sin-Eater is three stars out of ten.
