Day of the Jackal is as good as advertised. The series follows an elite assassin-shooter (Eddie Redmayne) known as The Jackal.
He’s offered a job that’s so lucrative that he can retire, but the job is risky, especially when a ruthless British intelligence officer named Bianca (Lashana Lynch) is hot on his trail. She chases him across Europe as he tries to complete his mission.
Their personal lives begin to collide with their work as they begin to realize that other forces are pulling the strings. Although some parts are stretched to fit 10 episodes, the series has plenty of action and drama to keep you entertained throughout the series.
